Spencer is always a light wherever he goes and the heavens are certainly brighter now.  We will miss you dearly, but strive to love as Spencer loved.  I will never forget the way Spencer would glow whenever he had his dear dog Koda by his side.  I loved seeing Koda with his ski googles on with his head out the window of Spencer’s truck! Loving companions to the end!  

Sending my sincere love, prayers and hope to the Murdoch family.

So very sad to say goodbye to Spencer too soon. I played bagpipes with him in the Utah Pipe Band and we were always happy when he was there. He infused a Marine Corps quality presence with a little brother feel. His handsome smile, straight shoulders, bright eagerness and profound goodness made him the perfect piper...and friend. We'll surely miss him in our circle.

Spencer was one of my best friends and I was lucky enough to have him as my next door neighbor. We would have late night music jams, walks,  nerd out about Star Wars, guns and so much more but I’ll never forget the confidence he helped me gain riding a motorcycle. I was lucky enough to experience my first canyon ride with Spencer by my side and will never forget the impact he had on my life this past year and a half!
