I can't imagine the pain you are going through. Although I never met Sophia, I've followed her journey. She was such a special child and always had a smile on her face no matter what she was going through. She had wonderful parents by her side and her attitude was amazing! No child should ever have to endure what Sophia did, but she was such a fighter and hung in there until the end. You should be so proud of her! She is truly an angel!🙏🦋😇🧚♀️💔

I still remember the first time I saw Sophia, her proud Daddy took her to work with him on his day off at the DiamondHead Beach Resort, where I worked. She was adorable, bubbly and she had those Goldie lox curls…I know she was a blessing and a joy to her parents even though she was only here a short time. They will rejoice when the time comes to reunite with her in Heaven! I know Mon & Dad, you will miss her so much but she is now at PEACE!

Marcel and Milda, our hearts are broken. Although we only Sophia (Lil Sophia as we called her) briefly we cherished the moments we used to see her taking her daily walks with Marcel from our porch on Widgeon terrace. I remember the first day I met her at diagnosis, thinking to myself "this one is some kind of special girl". And she proved that, time and again. Her beautiful light shone bright, even on the dark, hard days. I will never, ever forget her, or you. Peace to your family.

Sophia was a light that I believe Marcel and Milda never knew they needed until she turned on. Once her glow was shined , there was no turning back. She stole every single heart of every person she met. She radiated a kindness many of us never get the chance to experience. I have never been more moved by anyone, adult or child, in my entire life. I hope I myself as a 28 year old, and my future children can be an ounce of what she was. She was the best thing about the world, because she was real and beautiful. There was always such a sense of wonder, peace, and beauty in every move she made. I pray for peace and comfort for her family at this time, but I am so happy she is flying high, because she belongs in paradise. I love you Sophia, thank you for all you did and for the beautiful days you continue to bring us all. I see you showing off little girl. 😘🕊❤️🩹
