Sonja Cara Lee Bradford
Sonja Cara Lee Bradford, 85, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 15, 2026.
Born on September 27, 1940, in Winchester, Virginia, Sonja was the beloved daughter of Roy and Elsie Lee. She lived in several places over the years, including Irving, Texas; Sherwood, Arkansas; Olathe, Kansas; and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before moving to Cabot, Arkansas to be close to her children.
Sonja was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Fuller and husband Mark of Wichita, Kansas; her son, Kevin Bradford of Benton, Arkansas; grandson Cameron Fuller and wife Kristie of Little Rock, Arkansas; granddaughter Lauren Bohenek and husband Jason of Denton, Texas; granddaughter Christa Bradford and partner Aaron McCune of Searcy, Arkansas; and great-grandson Jayden Fuller of Palmer, Alaska. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harris Bradford Jr., her parents Roy and Elsie Lee, and her brother Roy Lee.
Sonja found great joy in cooking, cross-stitching, and gardening. She was known for her delicious Chalupa dish and was a faithful member of several churches over the years. She especially enjoyed leading the OWLS group at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge.
In accordance with her wishes, Sonja’s body was donated to science through the Genesis Whole Body Donation Foundation. There will be no funeral service or memorial at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Memphis, Tennessee.
