My Khala Sonia was unlike anyone else. She was quiet, but so full of love, and always knew how to make people feel seen and cared for. She wasn’t just the best mom she was the best Aunt too. Her strength, her warmth, and the way she loved so deeply made her stand out. She was the strongest woman I’ve ever known.
In response to "What made Sonia different from most people you know?"

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un. The duality of your soul, both incredibly gentle and remarkably strong, made you the most inspiring person I have ever known. Even in your final moments on this earth, you demonstrated a strength that stemmed from your unwavering faith. While we will never be able to match the greatness of who you were, we will strive to honour and preserve your legacy. As you rest in the Barzakh, watching over us, I pray that we live in a way that makes you proud, until we are all reunited in Jannah, Insha'Allah. You were a mother to all, and I love you more than words could ever express, Khala Sonia.

We all miss you very much. May you rest in peace. Our prayers are with the whole family. You were a sister to my mother ♥️
خواهر که داشته باشی قلبت به خانهای می ماند که همیشه چراغ یک اتاقش روشن است
Having a sister is like having a home where there is always a light on in one of the rooms.
حالی که در بین ما نیستی ولی همیشه در قلب ما استی
Although you are not among us, you are always in our hearts.
خواهر یعنی فرشته
A sister means an angel.
We will never forget you and know you are watching from above. Until we meet again. ♥️

Dear Khala Sonia,
You’re not here with us anymore but I know you’re somewhere better. Somewhere peaceful. Somewhere filled with light.
I believe with all my heart that you’re going to answer those questions in your grave with pride, strength, and faith. I know the angels are going to be kind to you. I know your soul is wrapped in peace.
You’re not alone. I know you’re surrounded by people you missed. Your loved ones who passed before you, espicially Moobeen jaan . Now they’re holding you close again. Laughing with you. Telling you, “We’ve been waiting for you” And asking you to make them your yummy food 🥹❤️
I pray your soul rests without fear, without pain, without any more waiting. I pray you’re reunited with everyone your heart longed for.
And I promise we will never forget you. You’ll live on through your daughters, son your family, and all the love you gave us.
Please watch over them from where you are. Keep their hearts strong. Help them feel your love .. even now.
And if you can hear this… just know you are deeply loved. Always.
InshaAllah we’ll see you again in a place where no one ever has to say goodbye. This is just temporary.
I love you so much. So so much khala Sonia. I really really do miss you and I promise you it’s only a matter of time in till we get to reunite and see your beautiful soul.
love, Mano ( Yasmin )
I will never break my word to you and I promise I’ll see you soon 🥹❤️❤️

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
Crystal, Hamzah & Husna; I am so incredibly sorry for this profound loss. My heart is with you, and your loved ones during this very difficult time.
Your mom Khala Sonia was truly a special soul, so generous, loving, and understanding. Although the memories I have with her are from many years ago, I will always remember them. From every time I was around her; whether it was a quick salam before she brought us her delicious tea, to chatting when we ran into each other at the mall, each was filled with warmth and genuine kindness. She always welcomed me into your home with open arms and a heart full of love. Khala Sonia was truly the heart of your home and her presence was a gift to everyone who had the privilege of even knowing her briefly. It has been such a honor to see how much she adored her family unconditionally.
The fact that she returned to Allah in the last ten days of Ramadan is no coincidence—it is a powerful testament to the beauty and purity of her soul. May Allah grant her the highest place in Jannah and wrap your family in comfort and mercy.
Please know that I am holding you all in my prayers and close to my heart.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. Khale Sonia you were one of the most gracious and kind people I have had the opportunity to know. You always showed nothing but love and respect to those around you. You imparted many great teachings to me in the time that I knew you. Everyone will miss you tremendously and you will always remain in our thoughts and prayers. I am blessed to have known you and I will strive to honor your memory. May Allah grant you a place in the highest of heavens.
