It is with great sadness we share that Solon Wood Mitchell III, affectionately known as Woody, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024 in Marietta, Georgia, at the age of 71 after a short but aggressive battle with cancer. Born on September 1, 1953 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Woody was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. As a christian, Woody found comfort in his relationship with the Lord and his family. …
