I only met Solomon twice 10 years ago when he took the time to mentor me on my business when I was young and directionless. I was so thankful and touched by his generosity that I never forgot that even to this day. He’s the type of faith-driven disciple I hope to become and only wish he was with us longer. As a father I can’t imagine what the family is going through and will keep them in my prayers, especially his children. May there be more Solomons in this world who are surrendered to Jesus and as courageous as he was. Thank you for the life you lived and the example of faith you displayed. I hope I am half the man that you were brother and see you in heaven one day.
We are so sad that you left us so much earlier than we expected. We trust that your wife and kids will endure this difficult time and eventually come out strong by God's grace. We sincerely pray that your parents and sisters hold on to God's goodness and continue their journey to heaven till you meet them again. Our hearts are aching for your parents especially. May God help them.

Dear Family of Solomon Choi, accept my condolences on the passing of your beloved Solomon. I did not know him personally, but knew of his yoghurt store, and know that he must have been a very hardworking man. I lost my father recently and know what it means when a loved one passes on, so when I saw the announcement of his passing, and his age, I thought I should reach out to you. I pray that you can keep his legacy alive through his family, good deeds and love.                                                                                                                                                     Our loved ones may have left this earthly realm, but they are never gone, their spirits live on, please take heart. May his soul rest in perfect peace in heaven, Amen.

We are so devastated to hear about this. Hannah, Jubilee, Joshua, we are keeping you in our prayers during this difficult time. Sol was an amazing person - we will miss him so much. There truly are no words.

We share stories to, among other things, learn from one another. I did not know Solomon, but I’m grateful that today I learned about his story. Anyone who’s lived and worked in New York knows of the high costs and friction of daily operations. Reading about Solomon’s accomplishments, both as an entrepreneur and as a family man, is an inspiration. I believe that I would speak for many men by saying simply: Thank you.

Condolences to the Choi Family,

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Solomon. I will miss our conversations immensely; we often talked about business and family, topics he was passionate about. Solomon was incredibly generous, always full of energy, and eager to share his knowledge. He genuinely wanted to see others succeed.

I will miss you, brother. Rest in peace.

With heartfelt sympathy,

Ken Romaniszyn

My sincere condolences to the enter Choi family.  The world lost one of the most extraordinary and remarkable people that I have ever come across.  I know Solomon will be watching over so many including his beautiful family and friends.  Solomon always knew how to empower others and make people feel like family because he cared so deeply about others and always wanted to win.  Solomon was my mentor and close friend.  I recently left a long-standing corporate career and Solomon gave me the confidence, tools and resources to ensure I never had to look back.  We spoke multiple times a week and I always looked forward to our weekly Thursday 10:30AM calls, ad hoc catch-up calls that went for hours and lunches. We had very big plans to launch a fund and accelerator and always talked about how it was our time to team up and join forces.  I know I will cherish all my facetime with Solomon and live by his values.  He will be deeply missed by all as he was loved by so many. I do look forward to sharing my many stories with Hannah, Joshua and Jubilee as it was always an adventure speaking and going out with Solomon.
A wave of shock and sadness came over me when learning of Sol’s passing. Hannah, my deepest condolences to you and the family. In 2014, Sol invested in my future and we worked on exciting marketing campaigns and collaborations for 16 Handles. He encouraged me to take risks and have fun! The energy and creativity coming from that office was palpable. Charismatic, determined and always positive - I have fond memories of our team building activities (he and I thought it would be fun to make our colleagues run Central Park 😂), activating events (our first giant catering event at Govball!), and hosting numerous Grand Opening celebrations for new store locations. It was a whirlwind few years and his passion for the business helped foster my love for the industry as well. I’m grateful for the journey and that our paths crossed, even for a short moment. His loss is felt by so many. Sending my peace and love 💛

My deepest condolences to Hannah, Jubilee and Joshua. It's so tragic we lost him so young, but every memory I have with him is filled with laughter and joy. His fun loving spirit never fails to make me laugh whenever I think of him.

Solomon may be gone, but his uplifting spirit, strength of character and generosity will be how I remember him forever.

Please let me know if there's ever anything I can do to help your family. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Love,

Robert Seo

My deepest condolences. It is hard to believe that Solomon is no longer with us. Solomon was an inspiring entrepreneur, a great leader, and a kind friend to us all. There are no words to express this tragedy. My dear friend, may you rest in peace. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to us.

Solomon and Hannah opened up their home to our church small group exactly a week prior to Solomon’s going home day.

At their home, Solomon shared about his recent Uber rides during his business trip in Chicago. Instead of his earpods, he decided to spend +1hr talking with the uber drivers, going and coming, about Jesus Christ.

Both drivers were believers and Solomon was able to have a meaningful and encouraging conversation with both men about faith and life. He even gave a gift to help one man in reaching his life goal.

Solomon also shared, his recent interest of learning how to better defend the gospel.

Solomon was sincerely genuine and always listening to what the other person had to say.

He was an amazing reminder of how to live as a permanent citizen of God’s kingdom.

Solomon, you are missed.  We thank God for you and your legacy. We pray God will show us how to continue to support Jubilee, Joshua and Hannah. Til we see you again.

In memory of Solomon Choi

2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Hannah, Jubilee and Joshua, my deepest condolences to your precious family. Solomon, my husband  David and I were in the same connect group for a few years at ENNY. I had the privilege of traveling to Israel with Solomon and witnessed his baptism in the Jordan River. He was a man who loved people and loved Jesus and his legacy will live on through you all. May God grant you peace that surpasses all human understanding.
My deepest condolences to you and your family.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  Solomon was a great guy.

Dear Hannah,

Words cannot describe what you’re going through. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Keep courage, hope and love in your heart

The news about Solomon's passing was an utter shock. I am still in disbelief and trying to process it. A man of great integrity, strong work ethics, generous with his time, always ready to help with a big smile and joyful disposition of heart, and just a very good friend, he will truly be missed. The world needs genuine people whose sincere love for God overflows into the love of neighbor and into everything they do. Solomon was that kind of man.  Rest in peace, my friend. It was tremendous joy working with you, and I feel blessed to have met you. Hannah, Jubilee and Joshua, my most sincere condolences on your loss. If my heart was broken after having to know him and work alongside him rather briefly, I can only imagine what the void is like in yours. May the Lord fill your hearts with His peace and consolation during this time of grief and may He bring about the healing that you all need.

Hannah

My heart breaks for you and the kids. My prayers are with you. Solomon once told me “everyone has an unfair advantage in life- you have to figure out what yours is.” His unfair advantage was you 😊

Much love

PA

Hannah, I'm really sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family during this tough time.
Hannah, I am so sorry about your loss. May you find comfort in the memories and the happy life you had together!
I’m sorry you’re going through this, Hannah. I hope for God’s protection and care for you, Jubilee and Joshua through this time.
Solomon - you've set the bar, my friend - love God, love people. The outpouring of memories and condolences make it crystal clear that you did it the right way. Amidst all the professional successes, thank you for reminding us on where and how to invest our time through the way you lived. Your legacy will live on, impacting generations. We grieve with your friends and family. Just as much, we celebrate the amazing 44 year journey you had here on earth.
