Skyler was a dear friend, and an incredibly passionate human. He never knew a stranger, and never knew fear. If he did he was a master at holding it in and pretending as if he'd done it all before. The type of support and love he would show other was almost intimidating. It was down-right abrasive. He had the type of mind where it was so easy for him to uplift anyone that was in his presence. He immediately saw the potential in every soul surrounding him. The way he put himself on the front lines of life and all it has to offer was the same thing people write books about. The same thing every great song is written about. The energy that's put into our world when we feel inspired and get goosebumps is what Skyler was made of. It was impossible not to be intimidated by the things he accomplished in his brief time he was able to walk with us. He isn't gone. His love, passion, and energy can't be destroyed. It's all around the people he knew, and with the people that loved him. Prayers for his family.
Thank you for shining your light, my man.

Skyler is truly one of a kind, a man of many amazing words and catchy one liners. His heart and love for the people in his life was otherworldly. I can’t express enough how good of a friend Skyler was to me. Most of my fondest college memories involved Skyler. When Skyler spoke you knew it was genuine. You knew it was from deep down. Skyler was incredibly hard working and talented at his craft. I loved being apart of his journey and growth. He is a brother I will never forget. A man who I believe is in heaven right now with our heavenly father, happier than he’s ever been making a joyful noise. Skyler man I love you and I wish I could see you one more time to tell you that. To also tell you how big of an impact you had on my life. A true friend I’m forever grateful to call my brother. Love you Skyler.

I think of Skyler often, along with all of my past band friends & family. Hearing of his passing is saddening. For three out of my four years in High School, I spent more time around Skyler than my actual family. He would make us laugh and smile and had quite an infectious, positive, and relaxed personality. Skyler's energy will surely be missed in this world.

My heart goes out to the Rippee’s. Since the end of junior year of high school, i had the honor to know Skyler. Skyler was my first love and many know that we spent years building such love. To see such a brilliant mind spend countless hours watching drum documentaries, to spend days on skate trips, or to see all of his records come to life…. Is something I’ll never take for granite. Skyler is and was and will forever be one of the most magically passionate people I know. It feels like a hole in my stomach now that he is gone. On to the next life, full of music and love in every way bub ❤️

My condolences to Skyler's family. I first met Skyler when I was skating Murfreesboro, the first time we talked was at the college 6 over peanut butter and jelly’s. I’ll never forget the times we shared and much he taught me. You will forever be missed and always be skating next me ever time I’m on the board.

I didn't know you.. I only just recently heard of you from a good friend of yours. She's now crushed by your passing. I knew you two were great friends. I've now listened to your music and got a feeling for what you expressed in your music and i wish you were allowed more time.. But your life wasn't without meaning. You touched people and that music will be around forever to continue to impact the lives of those who love you and will continue to love you. Your memories will be a warmth in the hearts of those that cherished you.

My condolences to Skyler's family. I first met Skyler through my grandson, David Worley. He was such a loving person and a great drummer. The last time I saw him was at my 70th birthday party when he, my grandson, and two other friends played in their band. He shall grace heaven with his beautiful smile and talent. We will miss him.
