Skylar Ray Bohn, age 26 former resident of Milbank, SD, passed away October 2, 2023, in Sioux Falls, SD due to a tragic accident.

Skylar (Sky) Ray Bohn was born October 31, 1996, in Watertown SD to Dennis Bohn and older siblings Tiffany and Damion. At 9 months of age his grandparents Larry and Barbara (mama) Bohn took him in and raised him with unconditional love. Skylar graduated from Milbank High School in May of 2015. Upon graduation he worked various jobs. He met the love of his life Brandi Trautman, and they married on December 10, 2020. They lived in Watertown for 2 years and then moved to Sioux Falls. They stayed busy working hard but playing harder. They were frequently at the lake, kayaking, trail hiking and small rock climbing. Skylar enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family, he loved cooking and having everyone nearby. He loved his motorcycle that he bought from his grandpa. He loved the calm and freedom it gave him just through short rides. He loved having his fur-babies (all 9) around him and loved the warm cuddles and smiles they provided. Skylar was always looking for more tattoos and piercing ideas. He loved to make everyone around him happy and always kept people laughing. Whether with jokes or the stories he told. Skylar is survived by his wife Brandi Bohn of Sioux Falls, Sister Tiffany (Derek) of Summit, Brother Damion of Summit, Grandfather Larry Bohn of Twin Brooks. Father Dennis, Aunt Brenda, and Uncle Tim (Lana). Stepchildren Julian, Autumn, and Alexander. Nieces, Daylynn, and Felicity. Cousins, Britney, Bridget, Ashley, Aaron, and Derek, among many others. Special Friends Tyler Grear and Danielle Kinnel and Sarah Benjamin. Adopted niece Lilly and nephew Jackson.

He was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Barbara, and many close friends and relatives. The family will be holding a celebration of life to be announced later this week.
