Sita's obituary

Sita Terrier O'Shea 🐾

March 12, 2015 - March 2, 2023

Spunky at heart; silly bean antics by day; devourer of chicken; demolisher of squeaky balls and toys; sucker for ear scratches; lover of butt scratches; avid DogTV fan.

Crossed the rainbow bridge on Thursday, March 2nd at 5:15pm EST at the age of 7 due to Renal Disease. Sita passed at home and in her sleep.

Sita came Home to Washington, DC, USA from the Soi Dog Foundation in Phuket, Thailand on September 27, 2018. Sita was loved by everyone, especially Mom (Susana) and Dad (Justin). She was quickly dubbed “the girl who stole everyone’s heart.” Sita delighted in the great outdoors such as Fort Hunt Park, Shenandoah Valley, Getaway Cabins, and Virginia Beach, just to name a few. Her energy would brighten up a room and it was easy to see how much she loved Hoomans. Sita had many nicknames in her life: “Boom Boom Girl,” “Queen,” “Friend”, “Psycho” and “Boo Boo” by Mom & Dad, “Silly Bean” by sitters, “Sita Pita” by daycare, “Princess” by walkers, and “Mamma Sita” by the Soi Dog Foundation staff. She taught Mom and Dad everything about family, love, and life, but she didn’t teach us how to live without her love. Sita will live on forever in our hearts.

A celebration of life was held at Sita's Home on Sunday, March 12th, in honor of what would have been Sita’s eighth birthday. Remembrance information and photos can be found online or on Instagram: @sita_terrier_oshea.
