Eric, I’m so sorry to hear that you are no longer physically with us. You were an amazing person who had a wonderful gift for connecting with people and making them feel good. You will be missed my friend.
Have not seen Eric since he was a kid on Florence Ave. Current pics Ive seen since his passing carries the same bright smile I remember on his face as a kid. A close family for sure, may you all find peace during this difficult time & the days ahead.

My condolences to Sir Eric’s family. I first met Sir Eric when we worked at Sears together, and from the second I met him, I knew we were meant to be in each others lives. He became one of my closest and best friends, someone I could always count on. We would often talk, laugh, and check in on each other even as life got busy.

One of my favorite memories with him was going to Six Flags together and doing the bungee jumping together. I have never laughed so hard in my life. That moment captures exactly who he was……full of joy, adventure, and a heart that made everyone around him feel alive.

Although we did not talk as much in recent years, he was and always will be a part of my heart and soul. Meeting up with him in Disney when he was living there was another beautiful memory, and we had the best time. He truly touched so many lives with his energy and his spirit.

I have thought about him every day since hearing about his passing. He was an amazing soul, and I will love him always. My heart is with his family during this time.

I wanted to share my deepest condolences with all of you. Eric wasn’t just my friend—he was truly my brother. He had this wild, spontaneous spirit that made every moment unforgettable. He was always down for anything, anytime, even if he had no idea where we were going or what we were doing—and even if he showed up three hours late, he always showed up. That was just who he was.

I loved him with my whole heart, and he treated me like family. We shared so many real moments together—talking about life, our futures, crying over the hard parts, and laughing at everything we’d been through. We were inseparable, and he will always be a part of me.

I’m incredibly grateful to have had him in my life, and I’m holding all of you in my prayers during this time.

With love and sympathy,

Brooklyn Mede
