Celebrating the Life of Simone Theodore (November 11, 1994 - October 9, 2024)
Our beloved Simone Theodore peacefully passed away in her sleep on October 9th, after a courageous battle with liver cancer. Throughout her 29 years, Simone unfortunately faced many health challenges with unwavering strength, grace, and an unshakeable faith in God's plan for her life.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Simone's passion for creativity and storytelling was evident from an early age. She pursued her dreams with determination, studying broadcast journalism at Oakwood University in Alabama after attending Pine Forge Academy in Pennsylvania. Her keen eye for beauty and human connection shone through her photography, leading her to capture moments at events like New York Fashion Week. As an aspiring actress, she honed her craft at McKinnon School for Acting in 2023, while working on her writing skills in her thoughtful Simon Said blog posts and reflections on life, faith, and personal growth. Since 2021, Simone also made her mark in the film industry, working as a Production Assistant on several projects including "Inferno," "Happy," "Forgetting Christmas," and the horror film "Negro Mountain." Her diverse talents and unwavering dedication to her craft were truly inspiring to all who knew her.
Those who knew Simone will remember her for her incredible thoughtfulness, caring nature, and wisdom. She had a remarkable ability to remember everyone's birthday, making each person in her life feel special and valued.
While Simone may no longer be with us physically, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her and in the light she left behind in everyone's hearts. Let's come together to honor her memory, celebrate her resilience in the face of adversity, and ensure that her legacy of love, kindness, and faith continues to inspire future generations.
