In loving memory of our mother, Simone Medlin, who passed away on February 24, 2025. She was the devoted fiance of Leon Leob and loving mother of John Medlin and Kourtney Jackson. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

 Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her children before her own. She was a strong woman who had to face the hardship of being permanently disabled in her mid 20s and still met every challenge in her life with courage and strength. Our mother was a source of warmth and love to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. 
Growing up, Simone always went out of her way to make sure John and Kourtney wanted for naught. She threw huge birthday parties at home and places like Chuckie Cheese or the Nickelodeon Universal.  She was a woman of faith and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to. 
The funeral service will be held at Elmont Funeral Home on 04/04/25. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral costs. 
Mom, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so so very much. Rest in peace.
