Simon was born on October 3rd, 1978 to his loving parents, Simon Sr. and Diane. As a child, Simon enjoyed going to WWE matches, a hobby which he carried with him throughout his entire life and later shared with his son, Randy. Simon was a huge fan of heavy metal bands, loved going to heavy metal shows around the Metro Detroit area known by his nickname "Pookie" to most of the people who knew him. He was an avid writer who ran a very popular blog about metal music in Detroit. After unexpected complications from a lifetime of vasculitis, Simon was taken away from us on August 28th, 2018. Simon is survived by his parents Simon Sr. & Diane, his brother Raymond, his fiancée Anastasia and their son, Randy. Due to the lack of a last will and testament, we are trying to honor Simon's wishes as best as we can based upon what we can recall; there will be no formal funeral as Simon requested, but there will be a get together for friends and family on the pavilion at Arthur J Miller Park in Warren, MI; Saturday, September 8th. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Vasculitis Foundation in Simon's name.
