I am so sorry to hear about Silas's passing.  My love and prayers go out to his family. My last memory of Silas was playing cards at a family reunion.  It was a very competitive game and Silas was enjoying everyone and staying out of the competition, just being his laid back self. He was a gentle soul and I appreciated him and will miss him.

I just keep thinking it was never supposed to end like this. Although contact had lessened through the years, my cousin Silas was always like a brother to me. I will always remember the core memories of being stupid kids and having some of the best times of my life together. Silas was a guy that you wanted to be around. He had every ounce of potential you could imagine, and was one of the kindest, funniest guys I've ever known. Silas had a great mind, and I remember him always coming up with new and better ideas than mine growing up. No matter what the afterlife brings, I know that Silas is at peace and his impact on his friends and family will never be forgotten.

Emily was the first of my friends to have a baby. I loved Silas from the moment I met him. When he was 3 months old, we traveled to Denver together to celebrate a friend’s wedding. I stayed back with Silas one night to give Emily a break. I remember I held  him all night,  so afraid he’d wake up and cry. He had the sweetest spirit from the beginning. I will always remember his dimpled smile. May his spirit and soul find peace. We will miss him forever. 💕
Silas was such a young tall hansome boy, I just knew he could get through these tough times!he was struggling.  No words will express my sorrow around his passing. Prayers for healing.
