Siegfried Fred Kessler, aka "Zeke" passed on June 24, 2020. While a resident at El Rio Memory Care in Modesto, CA contracted the Covid-19 virus and tested positive on June 14, 2020. He was hospitalized on June 17 and passed away on June 24 from pneumonia/Covid-19. He was father to two daughters, Jennifer Kessler and Elizabeth Lascheck (Paul), and grandfather to 5 grandchildren, Brooklyn Kessler, Gunther Wills, Jacob, Nathan and Christopher Lascheck. He is predeceased by his parents, Gertrude and Arthur Kessler, his sisters Erna Moser and Lilo Skog and brother, Horst Kessler. Although divorced, he maintained a close relationship with his former spouse Barbara. He will be missed by his family and friends, especially his longtime friend/brother, William Litzner. Zeke served his country in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a very likable guy and loved life. He was an avid car enthusiast and his life trade was as an automobile painter. He loved his corvette's!
