It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Sidney Gordon McKinnon, who left this world on August 16, 2023. Born on June 12, 1978, Sidney graced those around him with an unwavering spirit and infectious smile for 45 years.

Sidney, known for his warm heart and open arms, brought joy and light to those fortunate enough to have known him. His love for life, compassion for others, and unending positivity will be remembered by all.

His legacy lives on through his 4 children and relatives whose lives were brightened by his presence. He is  survived by his parents Allan and Louisa McKinnon, Siblings Jason (Leanne), Eric (Kathryn), Angela (Alex), Courtney, Allana (Gregory), Stephanie (Mark), Lisa (Ken),  Alex (Elizabeth) and his large group of nephew and nieces. The love and memories shared with Sidney are undeniably precious and would continue to live on in everyone's hearts.

We mourn the loss of Sidney but choose to celebrate the life he lived and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of many. His rich laughter, genuine kindness, and amicable spirit will be deeply missed, but they will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family thanks everyone for their heartfelt condolences during this difficult time and asks that you remember Sidney for the vivacious and loving individual that he was. While his physical presence may be gone, his spirit remains an integral part of our lives.
