Shlomo's obituary

Born in Sighet, Romaina Shlomo died January 28th, 1945 in the Buchenwald camp in Germany. His death was caused by many injuries and many illnesses due to the condition he was forced to live in. Shlomo was a shop owner and worked mainly in Sighet and was highly respected in his Jewish community. He married Sarah Fieg and had two children named Eliezer and Tzipora. On account of a relocation of the Jews run by the Nazis Shlomo and his family were kept under horrid conditions being the main cause of his death. Shlomo was devoted to his religion and participated in many community activities. When moved to his new home in the concentration camps the location of his wife and daughter became unknown to him, however, he was outlived by his son Elie who then became a author and published a story of the events his family went through.
