Shirley Matthews, 92, of Lacombe, LA, passed away on January 14, 2023.
Shirley was born on September 15, 1930. She is survived by her children, Michael Matthews of Ashville NC, Christine McBride of Baton Rouge LA, Patrick Matthews of Slidell LA and Kathleen Akins of Athens GA. Shirley excelled at ceramics and later in life a passion for creating beautiful colorings of faces. Shirley was predeceased by her husband James Matthews and her son Thomas …
