Shirley is survived by a loving circle of family who were her greatest joy in life. Her daughter, Laura Statler. She delightfully embraced her role as a grandmother to Kyle (Alicia) Statler, Kurtis (Makala) Statler, and Kaylee (James) Statler. Shirley's heart swelled with pride and joy with the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Brody Pratt, AnnaClaire Statler, Nolan Asbury, Makena Statler, Athena Statler, and Hadlee Asbury, whom she cherished immensely.
Her sisters, Noreen Huff, Janet (Doug) Hoffman, and Theresa Stehle, share a lifetime of memories with Shirley, filled with love and sisterhood and her lifelong friend, Sue Choate
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Nelson Stehle and Georgia (Joan) Stehle, her Brother-in-law, Vance Huff and the love of her life, David LaBree. The bond they shared was profound and their memories will continue to warm the hearts of all who knew them.
Shirley was a woman of simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She believed that the most essential things in life aren't things, but the relationships we forge with the people we love and the memories we create together.
