[Shirley Mae Benns Bennett], [86], of [Washington Illinois], passed away on [March 3, 2022 of death] after a [brief] battle with [cause of Pneumonia].

[Shirley] was born on [Nov. 26, 1935] to [Gordon and Ollidean Benns] in [Canton, IL].  She graduated from [Lewistown High School] in 1953.  Shirley married Edgar Junior Bennett of Fiatt in 1956, going on to have [3 children] children, [Lori and Randy Marchand, Jay and Cathy Bennett, and Sabrina and Larry Robbins].  Shirley worked for Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL. for many years. She enjoyed Bowling, Crocheting, and attending her kids sporting events over the years.  We will miss her greatly.

[Shirley] was predeceased by [her parents, husband and several aunts and uncles]. [She is survived by three children, grandchildren and her little sister, Pamela Benns.
