Shira's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Shira Elizabeth Marie Seaton. Born on February 1, 1985, Shira's vibrant and beautiful soul departed from this world on September 19, 2024. A beacon of strength, resilience, and authentic joy, Shira's unwavering loyalty and love for the people in her life will continue to live on in their hearts.
She leaves behind a rich legacy of love and courage, and is survived by her son, Jasiah "Jiggs" Wood. Her great grandfather, Gerald "Buddy" Huskey, and proud parents, Robert "Bob" Seaton and Linda Seaton, her brothers Bryan Seaton, Daniel Michalski, Darren Michalski, Darryl Huskey, Justin Seaton, Robert "Robbie" Seaton, her sister Kimberly Seaton, and many nieces and nephews, will forever cherish the beautiful memories they had with her. Gone to join the Lord before her are her great grandparents Etta "Betty" Huskey, John "FJ" Seaton, and Victoria Seaton.
Shira was a proud and supportive mother, caring deeply for her "Ride or Die", Jiggaman, as well as a caring nurse, focusing on the needs of others before her own, whenever able. Her deep and full laughter filled rooms and her even deeper love filled hearts. She taught us all how to love loudly, be genuine always, and remain strong in the face of adversity. Her greatest accomplishments, reveling in motherhood and letting the world know just how much she valued her son, and her tireless work to care for others, were a testament to her enduring spirit and her unwavering dedication to care for others.
A Celebration of Life for Shira will be held on October 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM at 3545 Kentucky Trail. Her vigor for life, belly laughs, and radiant smile (framed perfectly by her dimples) will echo through the walls as we remember the force of nature that she was.
In lieu of flowers, donations to "Shira's Memorial Fund" would be greatly appreciated. Shira's wish was for her legacy to be a testament to her unwavering authenticity and radiant joy; to live loudly and love deeply.
We will forever miss Shira, the proud mother, the loving auntie, the loyal friend, the caring nurse, the resilient woman she was. Sharing in her joy, her laughter, her love, we were all touched by how fiercely she lived and loved. As we remember her, we will strive to honor her legacy by living authentically, loving deeply, and holding our heads high, just as she did.
