Sherwin's obituary

Sherwin Lee Keener of Greenwood, SC went home to be with the Lord on June 30, 2022, after suffering his 3rd stroke in 2 years.

Born in Asheville, NC in 1962, he was the son of the late Gary F. Keener of Easley, SC and Janice B. Keener of Greenwood, SC. Sherwin graduated from Charles D. Owen High School in Black Mountain, NC in 1981. He worked for Kewaunee Scientific Corporation in Statesville, NC as a Resin Casting Specialist, and most recently at Cardinal Health in Greenwood, SC as a machine operator for 30 years. His hobbies included: wood working, sailing on lake Greenwood, playing guitar for Brass Serpent and acquiring storage buildings and musical equipment. Sherwin is survived by his mother, Janice; three brothers, their wives and children: Bryan, Alicia, Katelyn and Kaleigh of Greer, SC; Rick, Lori, Will, Zach and Drew of Taylors, SC; and Kevin, Lisa, Alex and Nick of Longwood, FL.
