Sherry (Hayes) Cronin, or better known as Boots or Gramz to family and friends, born July 10, 1950, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, surrounded by love and family.

Sherry was known for her caring heart, quick wit, and the way she made everyone feel like family. She was generous to a fault — always the first to offer a helping hand, a warm hug, or a good laugh. Her funny and outgoing personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Hayes) Byrd; her grandchildren, Brodie Hayes who she cared for as her son , and Kara Byrd, her great-grandchildren; Jeremy, Serenity, Draven, and Julian, who she absolutely adored and loved spending time with.

Sherry also leaves behind her brothers Daniel (Duke) and Chester (Chet), and her sister Diana (Sue), She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Otto and Roselind Hayes.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Boots’ life will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at ResoundingJoy Church, located at 8735 Cheviot Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45251.

Boots will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and the way she made every moment brighter. Her love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
