Sherry Christine Fox passed away on or around December 13th, 2024. She was born on June 17th, 1965 in Mountain Home, AR. In the 60's, Sherry was raised by Gary Shelton and Marsha Ray, then by Marsha and her second husband, Charles Kerlin. Sherry was the oldest of 4 kids, and grew up to be a Registered Nurse. She put herself through college in Wisconsin, then met Matthew Fox when she moved back to Mountain Home AR, whom she married in 1988. In 1989, her daughter Cassandra was born, followed by a second daughter, Jessica, in 1991. Sherry raised them for years as a stay at home mom. She worked a few nursing jobs here and there, but went on to become a reading teacher's assistant in 1997, then a School Nurse in '99, and eventually a Registered Nurse working on the Women's unit at Cox South in Springfield, MO. Sherry raised golden retrievers for a time, and had a massive love for dogs. She had many King Charles Cavalier Spaniels later in life. Sherry spent many years dedicated to her nursing career, but retired early due to health issues. She passed away in December of 2024. She was preceded in death by her father - Gary Shelton, mother - Marsha Ray, and is survived by her siblings, Rickey Shelton and Angie Brabender, as well as her husband Matthew Fox, daughters Cassandra Peck and Jessica Stone, and grandson Colin Stone.
