Sherry's obituary

Sherry Lee (Sullivan) Alexander, 62, passed away on July 24, 2022. After a 12-year battle with with epilepsy, God has taken her home. She was a light in every room with a beautiful soul, and her loss is deeply felt.

Sherry was born on August 4, 1959 in Virginia, MN, and graduated from Denfeld High School in Duluth, MN in 1977. She married Tony Allen Tack in 1979 and had two daughters before their divorce. She recently retired from Delta Airlines, which provided her with flying benefits and allowed her to travel the world and visit her family around the country. She recently accomplished her lifelong goal of visiting all fifty states.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mildred and Raymond Sullivan, and her ex-husband William Alexander. She leaves behind her three sisters, Terry Sullivan, April (Jay) Phillips, and Betty (Jeff) Voeltz; her two daughters, Jennifer (Danny) Dawson and Amanda (Shawn) Mikesh; five grandchildren, Breanna (Brandon) Blocker, Dominique Dawson, Alyssa Dawson, Easton Mikesh, and Corbin Mikesh; and one great-grandchild, Christopher Blocker; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sherry was active at First Baptist Church of Ferguson, MO, where a memorial was held to honor her life and devotion to her faith.
