Sherrie is another word for LOVE, abundant love. I treasure every memory I have of her and all that we did together over the years. I got to know Sherrie when we both worked at Rosemount Middle School. We did a lot of walking and talking! Sharing all aspects of life, raising kids and house decorating. I think she enjoyed this the most, making her home comfortable and beautiful. She had such a good eye. She even helped me in 2006 paint my living room in my new home in Falcon Heights. A wonderful daily reminder of her friendship and sharing spirit. I think I made it to every new home she and Dave moved into over the years!! Our friendship was constant, even when we would go through a time of not seeing one another for whatever reason, life gets busy. But, we caught up in a flash and lifted each other up. What a true blessing that was for me. I will miss you so much Sherrie. Your wonderful kind spirit, your generosity and happy, bubbly personality. And your gift of “gab” as you liked to say these last weeks. I love you. 💕 👼✨

Sherrie was a knower of all things, eager to learn, and a joy to connect with. We talked about music, musicals, movies, food, Minneapolis, Prince, our families... She told me about her love of Raising Canes Chicken Fingers and introduced me to Nandos in Washington DC. Knowing Sherrie is a highlight in my life and I am a better person because of her. Her light shines on in all of us and makes me smile.
