Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Sherri Rae Marsden on May 13, 2023.

Sherri, a resident of Tigard, Oregon, was born on October 17, 1949 in Oregon City, Oregon.  She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Hanson, her mother, Carol Davison, and her step-father, Richard Davison, who she loved as her own father. Sherri is survived by her daughter Deanna Neuschwander and husband Floyd, ex son-in-law, Rodney Green, and her step-son, Travis Marsden, both of whom she loved as her own sons. She is also survived by her grandchildren , Marissa and Connor Russell  and Hailey Green. Sherri has a surviving brother, Larry Hanson, as well as Mylissa and Ryan Boyd who were very special to her and she considered them her own along with their children Emily Boyd, Jacob Boyd, his wife Sophie, and their daughters, Sela and Kinsley. There were so MANY others who called Sherri “Mom” or “Grandma” as she had a lot of love to give to all of them. Lastly, she is survived by Pat Hegrenes, with whom she found love and companionship with the last few years, and her ex husbands, Earl Mohr and Edward Marsden.

Sherri was very dedicated to her work as a Senior Escrow Officer in the title business for over 50 years. She began at Transamerica and worked at Chicago Title, Stewart Title, Pacific Northwest Title, and ending her career at First American Title. Many who worked with her noted her as a “Legend in the industry” where she was considered by many to be an inspiration, a wonderful mentor, knowledgeable, and well-respected.

A small service was held for Sherri on May 26, 2023 at Aurora Community Cemetery in Aurora, Oregon where she has been laid to rest along with her parents, Carol and Richard Davison.
