It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Sherrel Denise Dulaney Cavett, who was born on April 27, 1972 and passed away on April 22, 2023. Fondly remembered as a charismatic, witty, loving, funny, and caring individual, her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life for Sherrel Denise Dulaney Cavett will be held on April 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at New Mount Zion M.B. Church on 140 Maple St.

Sherrel taught everyone around her to chase their dreams no matter the obstacles life presented, a lesson that touched many hearts. Despite the odds of her educational difficulties, she proudly earned her High School Diploma, showcasing her resilience and determination. Sherrel was also known for her unwavering love and care for all the children she met, creating a lasting impact on their lives.

Her legacy lies in her strong work ethics, particularly within the day care setting, as she positively impacted countless children throughout her career. Sherrel's selflessness and devotion will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Sherrel left behind her loving husband and their four children, two boys and two girls, who will carry her memories with them as they continue to honor her life and the love she shared with them.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Sherrel Denise Dulaney Cavett during this difficult time. May her loving spirit live on in the memories and lessons she shared with us all.
