I'm just now finding this out, sadly. I was one of her students when she was at Fitzgerald High. She, by far, was the highlight of my life when I was there. She guided me, took me in, and helped devolp my love for thearte and the Arts. I'm deeply saddened by finding out of her passing. I will forever remember her as a teacher and a friend.

Sheri and I met at BYUHC.We met in theatre class. She didn’t say much, but somehow we knew she was the new girl going to audition for the lead in South Pacific. I can still remember her entering the auditorium to audition for South Pacific. All I remember was when sho auditioned it was OVER….my girl was nothing but spectacular. Lord knew I wished that I could sing like her, so instead I was the Stage Manager. We became fast friends and confidants!! We pushed each other to go beyond our boxes. I will miss you, but will remember you each year on my Birthday Day, Sept 15th…Only you💕💕💕💕

I have so many fond family memories of times spent with all my cousins over the years, holidays, family events, and simply visiting trips that I could fill a book that would rival "The Secrets of the Samuri", which is a very large book. Sheri once told me that a film of me, falling off of a swing set, brought tears of joy and laughter for several years, when played backwards and such. I am happy that I was able to provide some of those moments to her.

Sheri was one of my cheerleaders at Columbia HighSchool in Lake City. She was a cute, smart, girl full of enthusiasm!! If teachers had favorites, she was one of mine. She will be missed by many !! Rest In Peace sweet Sheri !!

I am so sad to hear this news. I was a fellow teacher with Sheri at Fitzgerald High School and new and loved her and her precious children. She was a wonderful person and loved all her students as her own. She traveled with one of my children in high school to Europe, as well as two of her own children, who were precious, and others. The cookbook that she was instrumental in creating for the Travel Club that helped fund this trip is a testament to her wonderful work ethic. She was such a gift. Continued prayers for her precious children, husband, and her entire family. May you find comfort in knowing you shared a wonderful family member with so many of us. She made all of us love, laugh, smile, learn, create, and imagine wonderful things. Love to all of you. I am so sorry.

Your mom was smart, strong, and beautiful! I have always cherished her and admired her. I have many special memories on casserole court with her and Pat (eating and visiting often). One of my favorite memories was taking Collin and Karsyn (@3 years old?) to Savannah on a Ghost Tour and about half way through they said “when do we see the ghosts?” 😂😂 She was a loyal friend to me. We shared the joys and heartaches of life and ALWAYS she remained smiling. I know the world lost an amazing woman but the heavens are rejoicing because her smile and strong spirit are shining bright!!! Love and HUGE hugs to you all!

Thank you, Mrs. Carroll, for giving me support through my Highschool years, and for giving me advice and somewhere to go when I needed it. You helped so many of us, and we’re all thankful to have had you in our lives.

You will be missed so much, Sheri, by so many people. You were an inspiration to all who were lucky to be in your world. Praying for you, your family, and friends.

My prayers go to your family. Mrs. Carroll was my number 1 teacher, I remember my favorite moment out of all of them was when she pushed me to go all out to join drama even when I was scared. Because of this happening it built my character so much more, without her I wouldn't be who I am today.
