Hello! So sorry to hear about the passing of Shelly. We grew up across from each other in Port Moody. I was a bridesmaid when she married your dad Cara. Camping trips to Adams Lake, May long weekends in Osoyoos with my other family. Lifelong family ties. Still keep in touch with Ryan & Deb. She will be missed dearly without a doubt. We all have our memories and will hold them close to our hearts forever.
Love to all

‘Anam Cara’ that’s what Shelly is to me, in Gaelic it translates to ‘soul friend’ we all meet friends in various ways throughout our lives, our connection was instant bonding and just grew into a most comfortable and joyful time of deep friendship and constant togetherness at home in McKenzie town, and going on a wine trip to BC plus a Mexican vacation, where we shared stories and lots of laughter.
In your company Shelly there is always love and happiness, that is why I still take you with me wherever I go, you may not be with me physically now, however I see things and do things you love and my soul very much speaks to your soul, forever in my heart and mind always my Anam Cara 💕

My deepest condolences to the whole family!! I’ve known Shelly all my life and have many fond memories growing up in Port Moody and then working with her later in our adult life. It’s such a sad loss! Always think of the happy fun memories you have of her and that she is in a beautiful place at peace now.
