Shelley and I shared many great times together in middle and high school. I mean, who could forget our 8th grade cover of “That’s What Friends Are For” with Shelley & Chanel doing the vocals & me accompanying them on the piano at the end of the school year. And a friend she was. When I was being bullied in high school, it was Shelley who stood up for me. Even though we drifted apart, we reconnected on social media, and I just assumed we’d reunite before too long. I’m really gonna miss you, Shelley. My condolences to all that are grieving. Gone too soon… Love, Ife & the Walcott Family

from the very first time i met Shelley, she was SO kind and so warm. she was extremely sweet and always made me laugh especially when i needed it. she always checked in on me when she would find out i was in the hospital and would pop in on me to see me every so often. i’ll miss our conversations and jokes tremendously. i have zero doubt in my mind she sang her way into Heaven’s gate.  my heart goes out to her daughter, her sister and other loved ones who ever had the opportunity to meet Shelley.

Shelly was a loving and beautiful soul inside and out. We connected through music ofcourse many years ago . We shared the same love for music ministry and understood the assignment. . GOD DOES EVERYTHING WELL!

Shelly would always text or call me to ask do I want to sing at a funeral as she would pass my name and number on freely (lol).

She would say “I’m not available but I know someone who may be “. That being me. (lol).

There was no selfish bone in her as she (we) believe that there is plenty good room in the father’s kingdom.

THANK YOU SHELLY , for making yourself available to the will of God. You will be missed dearly. I can see a silhouette of your sitting in front of me on Sunday.

You sung your last song down here Sunday , “Oh how Precious is the name of JESUS “ AS YOU CALLED HIM MIGHTLY . Well sister girl, Jesus heard your plea and said come on my daughter , I have a home over there for you. You don’t have to call my name JESUS anymore. I hear you my child. Rest on Shelly. Until we meet again. Your sister in Christ

Beverly and I were schoolmates and friends  .I was heartbroken to hear about the passing of Shelley.Condolences to the family.RIP Shelley.
My condolences to the family. Shelly's mom Beverly  and I were best friends and Shelly was her beautiful daughter who had a voice like no other. EVERYBODY wanted to hear Shelly sing. I loved her sweet spirit and last remember what a great job she did at this year's NATIONAL NIGHT OUT at Harpers Choice which I attended. Her personality was so invigorating. You wanted to be around her. The sweetest person you'd ever meet. I remember how excited I was to attend Beverly's 70th birthday party and what a great job they did  putting it together for Beverly. It was a wonderful event!!! I will miss Shelly. She was truly loved by so many and I am hoping that Shelly has been welcomed into her Mother's arms and is at peace. She will missed by so many. Such a lovely spirit.
