Sheldon's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheldon "Shelly" Golub, who departed from this world on January 22, 2024. Born on July 28, 1946, he lived a full and rich life, leaving an indelible legacy on his loved ones and those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Sheldon's proudest accomplishments were his family. He is survived by his sons, Todd and Craig Golub, his sister, Joanie Golub, and his daughters-in-law, Catherine Bernstein and Mary Golub. Once a grandfather, Sheldon's heart seemed to expand with each new grandchild – Aiden, Ronan, Brandon, and Emily Golub all held a special place in his heart, and he cherished the moments he spent with them. The void Sheldon leaves behind is immeasurable, yet he lives on through his loved ones.

Sheldon was a man of wisdom, the kind that comes from a life well-lived. He often shared his view that "Delivery is everything. You can say anything to anyone, it’s all in how you say it." This advice underlined his belief in the power of empathy and communication, and it has become a guiding principle for many who were fortunate to receive it.

His love for his grandchildren was unparalleled, and it is this love that will remain his enduring legacy. Sheldon showed us all that love is the very essence of life. His spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of his family, and his memory will serve as a beacon of love, kindness, and wisdom for generations yet to come.
