Where do I begin. How to I compile a lifetime of love into a few words? Whats funny is I really don't remember when you lived at home as I was 2 years old when you graduated and went to college. And yet you were always there for me. Whether to spend the night, to borrow your car (the camaro of course) to borrow some money or just for a shoulder to cry on you were always there. Now God has chosen to call you home so that you can rest. I know I won't be able to see you on a day to day basis but I know you'll still be there for me. Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do for me. No goodbye from me just a see you later because I will see you again. Tell Mama Daddy and Cynthia I said hello. Love you "Sister dear."

From all of us at Oncology Consultants who had the honor and privilege of caring for Ms. Vaughn -- her lovely spirit, her warm smile, her fierce dedication to her family, and her zest for living her life to the nth degree regardless of any obstacles thrown in her path was an inspiration to us all. She will be dearly, dearly missed.

Words cannot express the heartache I have continued to experience since I heard the sad news of Shelia’s passing. As believers in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, we know that the moment she took her last breath - the very next second she opened her beautiful eyes in heaven to be with and in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father, completely healed and whole, with a new body... AND FOR THIS REASON, WE CAN REJOICE for Revelation 21:4 says β€œHe will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, β€œI am making everything NEW!”
Sheila was truly an amazing woman and such a trooper and a fighter. I remain in awe of her. I never heard her complained throughout her battle with health issues and she always tried to remain positive. I know without a doubt that her strength came from BOTH her faith in God and her deep deep love for her family, which was so evident. (It may not feel like it right now, but in your times of need, that SAME FAITH will sustain and strengthen your family as well ) Our block will greatly feel her loss and we will sincerely miss her sweet sweet spirit and her contagious smile. May the peace of God, which surpasses all human understanding, keep and be with you all.

Sheila was a beautiful strong woman who loved life and she lived it to the fullest regardless of the health challenges she faced along the way. She was very grateful to God for every moment she had with her loving family. What an inspiration she was to us all. We loved Sheila and she will be missed.
May God bless and keep her family.

Sheila always brought such love and light to our heart exchange group at St Luke’s hospital! My husband Kevin and her both share the similarity of having a new heart. She’s missed so much... ❀️but know she’s rejoicing with Jesus in Heaven totally healed now...

We’re so sorry due to unforeseen circumstances, we’re unable to attend her memorial.

Our love and prayers continue to surround you all! πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

My deepest condolences on the passing of your mother. She was a wonderful person. A gentle, kind, funny spirit who always welcomed us with open arms. She will be missed.
Mrs. Vaughn,

You often referred to me as your 'other daughter' and I was so proud to be an unofficial member of your beautiful family. I am going to miss your laugh and your hugs but mostly I'm going to miss joking with you about Rodney and his special ways. ;) You were a light that could not and will not ever be diminished. I am heartbroken that you are gone but you have earned your wings and we know you are at peace and with our lord and savior. I will forever keep your entire family in my prayers as we celebrate and remember your beautiful life. β€πŸ•Š

Only 1st class for Mama!! Although our "Mother & Son" trip to Vancouver was untimely cut short, I hope (Mama) that you are able to see all the beautiful sites which we did not have the opportunity to visit. I'm pretty sure the views from Heaven are even more breathtaking. Go ahead and take that walk across the Capilano Bridge and amongst the canopy of the Fir trees. I wish we could have had more time.... I miss you beyond measure or comprehension. I love you eternally!
