Happy birthday sis. Still here fighting the good fight, or as best I can. Everyone is doing good. Gio just turned to and is driving Delaney and Sergio crazy. Angelica graduated and is preparing for med school.... after a couple of break years of course. Well you're still here with all of us. Love you and tell the rest of the fam I said 'Hey'. Michael

Happy Birthday, Mama!! It's so hard to believe that it has been almost five years since I last saw your smile, heard you laugh, or called to discuss what occurred during the day.

Although we talk to each other every day and I feel your presence, it's still not the same as being able to walk in the room and give you a hug or bring you some flowers.

As I reflect upon another year of your life, know that my love for you has never diminished and I am eternally grateful for everything you have given me... the love, memories, support, guidance, strength, and faith... just to name a few.

May the Angels sing praises to you as you celebrate this day with all our family members and other friends who have joined you in Heaven.

I LOVE YOU, MA!!

Happy 75th birthday 'sister-dear'.  Hope you enjoy your day with Cynthia and Momma and Daddy. Well your great-grandson arrived last week so congratulations. Please keep looking down on him and the rest of the family.  Love Michael
Happy birthday sis. Miss your smile and hearing your voice. I have an old voice message from you that I pop up once in awhile just to hear you. Family is good. Billy is settling in his new house. Rodney and Charlyn are back together again (you can imagine how that is going! LOL!) Delaney is good and Bridgette is well Bridgette. Gerald is maintaining and Betty is still hanging in there. Hope you have a great birthday. Sure you're gonna be hanging out with Cynthia and maybe Mama and Daddy, that is if you can track them down. Well again, Happy Birthday. Love and miss you. Michael

So sorry to hear about Sheila's passing. My sister Pam attended Cynthia and Mr and Mrs Powell's funerals. I was a classmate of Betty's and consider myself a lifetime close friend.
The Bankston family extends their deepest and sincerest condolences to the Powell family. RIH.

Mrs Vaughn was the sweetest person and truly a heart of gold.
I’ve never seen someone cater to their family and friends as much as she did. At the end of day if she didn’t get anything back but a “thank you” or a smile on that person face for what she did for them. That was worth more then any amount of money or gift someone could have given her. She truly had a gift that you don’t find in a lot of people now a days. I was just blessed that I had the pleasure of meeting her. I will always hold our memories of having chocolate martinis & enjoying good conversation (man the fun we had). I will miss her dearly.
