I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Shawna and I want to express my heartfelt condolences to her family. Especially, to her sons Dalton and Tristan, whom she spoke of so much. She was and is so very proud of you both. Dalton, because of your mom, I know that you are adventurous and a great photographer. Tristan, hearing about your journey and accomplishments  through college helped me to motivate my own son. 

Shawna was truly a genuine, kind person, and mother. During the short while we worked together, I learned a great deal from her about motherhood. She was always willing and ready to give the kindest advice when needed. My greatest memory of her is seeing her face light up when she spoke of her younger years during the 80’s and how much she loved 80s hair metal bands. Shawna, I’m gonna miss you, your smile, and your kind, non-judgmental ear, dearly. Rest in peace friend. Praying for your beautiful family.🙏🏾

I will always cherish the memories I have of Mrs. Shawna  and I am grateful for the time we spent together.

If you had the privilege to know Shawna then you know to know her is to love her and all who know my sister Shawna surely benefited from it. Shawna lived life with a zest for love and laughter and spread her joy freely with everyone who knew her. Shawna was an angel on earth and a great gift to her family and friends.

Words can't express the deep sorrow I feel with her leaving this earth but I'm forever grateful for the pure joy that her life brought to myself and our entire family for the 43 years I've been blessed to have her in my life.

May peace, love, joy and happiness be with your beautiful soul forever, you truly earned it!

I was shocked and sad when I heard the news of Shawna's passing. I never had the honor or joy of knowing her, but I know Ben chose well. She sounds like such a lovely person and I'm sure she was a sweet wife and wonderful mother. My heart goes out to you and your family, Ben. May God fill you with His peace and hope and give you strength enough for each day. Know that you are all loved. May you feel the loving arms of your Creator, Jesus, wrapped around you as you go through this sad time.
