Shawn David Weston

April 26, 1987 - September 8, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shawn on September 8, 2022 at the age of 35.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Mary and Wayne, three brothers; Sid (Shelly), Brian and Phil. Grandma Brown. Uncles/Aunts; Jim (Karyn), Bob (Peggy), Bette-Lou (Bruce), John (Nancy), Sue (Len), Robert (Tina) and Christopher (Teresa). Nephews/Nieces; Damien, Tanner, Justin, Jordan, Tyler and Jaiden. First cousins; Teresa (James), Angie (Chuck), Karrie (Alain), Shelley, Amber, Jace (Tanya), Jake (Kaitlin), Ashley (James), Danielle, Kendra (Jadie), Kayla (Brian), Michael and James. Numerous second cousins. Close friends; Christopher (Danica) and Stephanie.

Shawn was predeceased by his Uncle Sid Brown, Grandmother Pauline Broad, Great-Uncle Phil Weston, Grandpa George Brown, nephew Tyler Williams and special friend Joyce.

Shawn was born at the U of A hospital in Edmonton on April 26, 1987. He lived in the Beaumont/Edmonton area until 1994 when he and his family moved to an acreage west of Stony Plain, AB. Some of his happiest times were the 20 years he spent here; riding his quad, building a tree fort and playing with his little brother, Brian and the neighborhood children. He took his schooling at Blueberry School in Parkland county and the Stony Plain Composite High School. He enjoyed drawing, listening to music and hanging out with friends.

You are invited to a Celebration of Life for Shawn at Serenity Funeral Services at #600 Calahoo Road, Spruce Grove, AB beginning at 1:00 pm on October 11, 2022.

A special thank you to my brother John for all his love and support and for being there for Shawn. Also to the Victim Services Society for their support of John at the time of Shawn’s passing.
