I was blessed to have Layla as my student. Receiving this sweet family is a blessing. Laylas love was definitely a blessing and being able to meet Liz and Shawn is beautiful. I remember one day Shawn picked up Layla from class and Layla was just so concerned to tell him she kept up with her fake nails through out the day and he was just so surprised she had any left lol. Words cannot express the feeling I have for this sweet family! I just now there was good memories made! It soon to be that this world is way to small lol that my husband and Shawn worked for the same company Carlos told me on his last day at work Shawn and Carlos met up and just had a good talk and goofed around as he says marine to marine theirs no telling what is said lol if your a marine you know! Carlos loved the fact that they both had toys on their desk and today was a day that he brought that memory up they had some love for those toys lol. Today we sat here and talked and laughed and memorized all the good times at the kiddos birthday parties lol that they were probably dragged too lol but it was fun …… thank you for being a good friend we love you!

Shawn's presence at our office was a bright light. He always had a quick response and was so funny. I thoroughly enjoyed being around him. I affectionately called him "the Hulk" because he had so many hulks on his desk and looked like the Hulk. I will miss seeing him terribly. I am so very sorry for your loss.
