Shawn brought so much warmth and laughter wherever he went. I’ll never forget him saying Laura had the best time at my wedding he said it with that proud smile, like her happiness meant everything to him. That was Shawn. He found joy in the people he loved and celebrated them so wholeheartedly. Being around him always felt lighter, easier, happier. He had a way of making moments feel special just by being there. We will miss his laugh, his kindness, and the love he gave so freely. I’m so grateful for the memories we shared, and I’ll carry them with me always.

Laura, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve been grateful to know you as both a friend and colleague for 25 years, and to see the love you and Shawn shared over 34 years.
Shawn had such a special way about him—quiet, but genuinely funny, thoughtful, creative, and so smart. And I’ll always remember the care he put into the things he loved. He wasn’t just a collector; he was a true curator. He knew the story of every Pez dispenser, action figure, and Hotwheels car, and displayed each piece with such precision and love. That kind of attention and heart says so much about who he was.

Shawn and I had so many fabulous adventures. We had many good years filled with love and joy. Although my life will never be the same and I miss him so much. I am thankful for the time we had. He was my very best friend and I know we have a special love and bond.
