I remember when you were a baby. I must have not of wanted a baby brother, because when I held you for the first time. I held you out the 3rd or 4th floor window of the Apartment we lived in as kids, and Mom came over and couldn't believe what I was doing. She grabbed you and busted my tail. As you got older you became even more annoying, and in my eyes it was like you could do no wrong in your Dad's eyes. Every time you did something wrong, I got my butt busted because you messed up. I would go to school with bruises and welts all over my butt. Plus you acted exactly like your Dad which I couldn't stand either. In fact I freaking hated it. Every time you farted side ways I got a whoopin'. I grew up angry at you for a long time. I remember when you went to Kindergarten one day, and pulled down your pants to show the class your underoo's. That sent you to the Principles office. I can still see us racing down the hill next to our house as kids. I remember you made a mistake and said the wrong thing, and you almost got smashed by a Junior High Student that could be Shaq's twin. I have very few good memories there as we both know, and all to well. After your Dad and our Mom got a divorce he still made our lives hell. He then moved you down to Florida for a few years. Then back to Richmond. We lost touch before I went on my mini- vacation. We hadn't seen each other or hadn't spoken in quite a long time. Until you reached out to Ms. Jackson. We got caught up on whats been going on with each other. Then we stopped talking again because I chose to. You tried to get me to relive the past with you, and I'm sorry Bubby.......I just couldn't go back down that dark rabbit hole with you. I had just gotten 2 years clean and sober, and was slowly starting to get my life back on track, and I told you then you could have come to Indianapolis, and we could have figured the rest out, but you chose not to. Maybe if you had my new way of life may have rubbed off on you. If it would have, there would have been a chance that you would still be with us.

I am sorry I didn't know you were in the hospital until it was to late. Had I known I would have came and seen you. I loved you despite our differences. I am sorry that I didn't get to hold your hand, and to be there to see you, and tell you everything was gonna be okay. That you needed to do your dialysis. Would that have changed anything I dont know. I was hoping you would get better, but your heart and body was just to weak, and God had other plans. Your chains are gone. You've been set free. Your Lord and savior has ransomed thee. Fly High Brother!!! I love you and will miss you till we meet again. Save me a spot next to you Grandpa, Zaria, Christopher. and Kristin.
