I went to college with Shawn where we were fraternity brothers.  I fondly remember many intramural games from softball to flag football to basketball where we competed against other fraternities together.  He was a really good guy and always had a great smile.  I just found out about his passing but still wanted to wish his family blessings going forward.  I can't imagine your loss but I am sorry for it.

I know how much Shawn loved his great danes, even referring to them as his daughters ❤️  I just wanted to let you know that I made a donation to Ruff Love Foster Care and Dog Rescue- Great Dane Friends n honor of him ❤️

Sending light, love  & prayers of comfort to all. I never got to meet Shawn but I felt like I did bc Shelly spoke of him often. Also, my son, Michael, worked  for Shawn a while ago and spoke highly of both he & Shelly. He spoke of the kindness shown by both. My heart breaks for all of you. May  God bless & be with all of you in this most difficult time. 😪🙏💔✝️

We are so saddened by Shawn’s passing. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family . Shawn was a beloved grand nephew. May God grant you peace and comfort.

Oh Shelly… so  sorry to see this news.  Such fun memories of time with the two of you, including the night y’all met on an airplane ride back to Charlotte.  Can’t believe this much time has passed since Russ and Shawn were roommates and we were all dating… and really sorry for the loss for all of you!  Love you my friend and praying for you and your whole family.

I am saddened to hear the news of Shawn’s passing.. Shawn was a fraternity brother and I remember He always had a smile and friendly greeting. Condolences to the family. Rest in peace brother.

I had the pleasure of finally meeting my neighbor & ended up making a friend. He taught me & helped me out A LOT! He was a trusting figure who was not only there for me as a person, but was also there to guide me when I felt I had no one else to rely on. When I think of Shawn, I think of a man who was hard-headed & stubborn; who wore his heart on his sleeve; who cared about doing the right thing & stood up for people who struggled with standing up for themselves (me included); someone who was humble & cared about others more than he sometimes cared for himself; and most of all he was an extremely proud father who loved his kids more than life itself!

You will be missed Shawn.

Extremely saddened to hear of Shawn’s passing! I knew him from college where we were fraternity brothers. He was a great guy with a heart of gold. He was always upbeat and truly cared for others. My condolences to his family who I will keep in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear this about Shawn.   In high school, I remember his quick wit and kindness to everyone.  Many prayers to his beautiful family during this sad time.
