My heart breaks thinking about the last day you spent alive 3 years ago. I wish I had known how you felt that day; what drove you to put that poison filled needle in your arm. I wish I had been  there to stop you.  Being a mother is so difficult, trying to let your children learn and be responsible while resisting the urge to step in. I think about you every single day, mostly  at night when the pain awakens me. I miss our talks and closeness. I will always love you.

Val, Stu, Grace, and Brian,

The service you had today for Shawn was beautiful, and your eulogies were so touching and heartfelt.  Shawn will be so missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know him.

Dear Stu, Val, Grace, Brian and Family,

We were so saddened to hear of Shawn's passing and extend our sincere sympathies to you all. We have many fond memories of birthday parties, inline skating, and sleepovers with Shawn. We hope these photos bring a smile to you as they did to us when we found them. Sending our love- Rest in Peace Shawn.

Arol and I are heartbroken to hear this sad news.  We have such good memories of Andrew and Shawn hanging out during their grade school years.  Our heartfelt condolences to you Val, and to you, Stu, and to your families.

Love you so much Shawn. Was sharing stories with my boss literally this morning about you and Kerry before I found out and now I know it was god telling me. Will miss you so much.
