Hello Everyone,

Thank you for planning to attend a scheduled Zoom Live Stream Meeting for Shawn Tashi
Bambushew’s Tibetan Buddhist Funeral Service on Friday, December 23, 2022.

Buddhists believe that death is the transition from this life to the next. The objective of this
religious service conducted by Geshe Tenley at the Kurukulla Tibetan Buddhist Center is to help
guide Shawn’s soul to his next life in a positive manner for a better rebirth.
Geshe Tenley will start the service tomorrow (12/23/22) promptly at 3:30 pm and it will last
between 30 - 45 minutes. After the Geshe concludes his prayers (in Tibetan) some of us will do a
brief Eulogy for our beloved Shawn Tashi.

Zoom specific information:
This is my first time Hosting a Zoom session, and I’ve configured the setting to make it easy for
viewing guests (all muted) to join in without my intervention. Therefore, I recommend guests to
login at 3:00 PM and simply wait for the service to begin. This gives everyone ample time to
start the session at their respective devices and begin viewing early if they wish. Our family will
be busy greeting attendees in the temple, so a Zoom Admin will NOT be at the Host iPad to
assist. Ear phones/air pods are highly recommended to enhance the audio quality. Thank you.
