The look on Shaun's face says it all! This was a family Christmas trip to the Virgin Islands but our flight was canceled...this was the year of 2022 during that nationwide blizzard... and we ended up in stuck in Florida. We spent the day at the beach. Everyone was hot and tired of walking so we all climbed onto a bike and pedaled down the sidewalk and nearly crashed because the kids were steering and no one knew how to brake! Look at Shaun's face... riding this 8 person bike was the most fun we have ever had! You gotta try it.

My deepest condolences to the family. I recall my first meeting Shaun when he was a young teenager. His father was doing some repair work at my residence, and his father had brought he and his older brother Shane Jr. along with him (teaching them his craft). I remember commenting to Shaun how blessed he and his brother were to be learning a craft along side their father. What I remember most was his response with an infectious smile. I will always remember his smile. Rest in peace Shaun. God has you now.

I met Shaun in 8th grade and we became best friends in 11th, he was such a highlight in my life and we continued that friendship well into adulthood I’ll forever remember our every conversation, every bicker, every trip to the store, every walk home from the bus. I loved Shaun more than I knew him being gone hurts me in a way I’ve never known, I’m sorry for your loss but I’m thankful to have experienced your son.
