One of the hardest things for me to do is ask for help. I cannot express in words my gratitude for all of your love, support, and kindness during this. Shasta’s passing was/is a shock. All funds donated will go towards her Celebration of Life event and any legal expenses incurred. If there are leftover funds they will be donated to an Animal rescue in her name. Thank you in advance.

Shasta Lorraine Ortiz was born on August 12, 1993 to Gwen Stone and Mike Ortiz in San Clemente, California. A true Southern California girl, she grew up playing in the water at San Clemente beach and hiking in Trabuco Canyon. After graduating from San Clemente High School, her love for animals led her to receive her degree at Stanbridge College. She worked at Arroyo Animal Hospital in Lake Forest (VCA) for many years and recently …
