Mommy, our house is so quiet.
- I miss the shrill whistle of the tea pot at all hours of the day and night.
- I miss the ‘get my head in the game’ pep talks when something had me down.
- I miss you shouting out for me to wear a jacket every time I left the house.
- I miss you gleefully recounting your latest “Sherry Shopping “ victory.
- I miss our four-decade battle over how best to load the dishwasher.
- I miss the way you play air drums (and make that cute little ch-ch-ch sound) when rocking out to the Blues.
-I miss your sinfully delicious and elaborate home cooked meals with WAY too many dishes for me to clean afterwards.
- I miss the smell of nail polish.
- I miss watching (and often being sucked into) your creative process. MacGuyver could have learned from you!
- I miss your daily downloads to keep me plugged into local, world and family news.
- I miss your prolific use of the “F word” (i.e. F-I-N-E) FINE!
- I miss (and am not-so-secretly jealous of) the way you and Kan would always full-belly laugh together.
- I miss you and Sess singing duets to Elvis’ music.
- I miss you and Fred tussling over politics (though on the same side of the aisle).
- I miss you always telling me what I needed to hear - even when I didn’t want to hear it.
- I miss your unconditional love.
- I miss you...

Sherry has been a dear friend for over 40 years. Candy was a flower girl in my wedding. Sherry taught me to crochet and I still have and use the afghan I made at age 18. Every time I use it I think of Sherry and all the fun and laughs we had. I haven’t seen her often as we got older but she enjoyed seeing photos of my sons and seeing them grow up. She taught me how to make spaghetti sauce which I still make. She always loved her daughters/ of course voiced her annoyance at children but always proud of them. Sherry’s passing has left an empty spot in my heart but I’m glad she’s reunited with Dave, the love of her life! I’m sure she’s putting everyone in their place in heaven❤️

My condolences to the family. Growing up, Sherry was always looking out for me in a motherly way. I always appreciated the way I was considered a part of the Robinson family. Thinking about my "sisters" during this difficult time. Love, Randy
