Personal note from What is a Pó Po 婆婆 ?

In Chinese, it’s the term a child calls their mother’s mother. It’s what Sharon’s own children called her mother …

… and it’s what Sharon’s grandchildren called her.

For them, Pó Po …

… is a woman who loves her grandkids, painted rocks, made cookies, and learned how to draw superheros.
-Zion, age 9

-Kenai, age 4

Pó Po gave her heart to her children and grandchildren

Pó Po always took time for those she loved
