Sharon's obituary

Sharon Kay McBride, beloved mother, Nanny, and friend, passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 73. She was born on November 4, 1950, in Yale, Oklahoma, and most recently resided in Flint, TX.

Sharon was a sassy and fun loving woman who found joy in the simplest of things. She had a warm heart and always put her family and friends first. Sharon cherished spending time with her loved ones, and her favorite moments were those spent with her children and grandchildren. Her family was her greatest source of happiness and she treasured every moment she had with them.

Sharon McBride worked at Stillwater Medical Center and OSU College for many years as an administrative assistant. Sharon found joy in reading, cooking, crafting, and spoiling her dog.

Sharon is survived by her loving children, Kerri and Trent Roberts, Kelli and Jesse Walker, and Bella Blue. She was a proud grandmother to Caitlyn Jacobs and Kyle Davis, Zachary Jacobs, Hudson Walker, Trey Daughtry, and Jack Walker, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life. She was also survived by several cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Mooneyham, mother Bonnie Mooneyham, brother Wayne Mooneyhan, and granny Lula Simnitt.

A celebration of life service for Sharon McBride is scheduled to take place at Flint Baptist Church on Saturday, May 4th, at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to assist with cremation and service costs. Contributions can be sent via Cashapp to $kellidwalker, Venmo at @Kelli_Walker, or by mail to 19020 CR 1202 Flint, TX 75762.

Sharon will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to inspire those who had the honor of crossing her path. May she rest in eternal peace.
