Sharon's obituary

Sharon Estelle Ide, 76 passed away with her family by her side on January 18, 2025. She was born in Hibbing, MN on July 11, 1948, to Eugene and Eathel Grady.

She graduated from Aurora Hoyt Lakes High School in 1966 and was married to Gerald (Jerry) Ide on September 6, 1969 in Hoyt Lakes, MN.  Sharon worked for 38 years at the Mesaba Clinic as a Lab Technician in the Chisholm, Hibbing, and Mountain Iron locations.

Sharon is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years Gerald (Jerry) , sons Kevin (ex-Monica) and Scott (Kristi) Ide, grandchildren Tiffany, Jordan, Emma, Lucas, and Abby Ide. She will be missed by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Eathel, twin sister Kathleen, brother Patrick, parents in-law  George and Helen, brothers in-law Kenneth, Richard, and Roger, nephew Theodore.

Sharon’s life will be celebrated in our hearts forever. Let us honor her memory by emulating the kindness and warmth she showed to each of us. May Sharon’s body and soul now rest in peace.

A Celebration of Life service is being planned for the spring at the Chisholm cemetery. More details to come.
