Sharon Gallagher, a devoted and beloved mother, passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 74. Born on November 24, 1948, in Newburgh, NY, Sharon dedicated her life to caring for her family and those around her.

Sharon is predeceased by her  husband, Dennis Gallagher Jr, and her parents,  Arthur Francis Bewick and Sally Ann Bewick (Costello) . She is survived by her her children, Sean and Denise Gallagher, her brother Russell Bewick (wife Patty),  and many nieces and nephews.

Sharon’s career as a home health aid and one-on-one school aid allowed her to show her passion for assisting others. In her free time, Sharon enjoyed various activities, including reading, taking walks, loving her many cats and dogs, shopping, going out to eat, spending time with friends and family, and above all, being a mother. These hobbies were a testament to her compassionate nature, and her commitment to making the world a better place for all living beings.

Throughout her life, Sharon was best described as smart, kind, and compassionate. Her intelligence, warmth, and empathy will be remembered and celebrated by friends and family alike. While she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched.
