Our beloved sister Sharon "Nan Nan" Coursey entered into God’s Kingdom on September 09, 2022 after a short battle with lung cancer.

Sharon was born to James and Mary Coursey on March 12, 1952 in Baltimore, MD.   She attended University of Maryland, College Park and graduated with a degree in Psychology and later a Master's Degree in Library Science. After graduating, she stayed near College Park and pursued a career as a cataloger at the McKeldin library and later the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. where she worked for over 40 years.  Sharon was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost.  She loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible.  Sharon joins her mother Mary and father James in Heaven. She is survived by loving family members, including her brother Michael, sister Heather, and husband Ed Thorne.
